created by James Earle Fraser (responsible for "End of the Trail") in the early
1900's as an attempt to bend the hearts of Americans towards its original occupants.

During the removal of the
Cherokee people from their home land, nearly one-forth died due to frostbite and famine.
Within "They Moved Them" Behrens depicts the Trail of Tears, including a twenty
